Meet the Elite Heat Coaches

Bheahlor Young

Head Coach

We are proud to introduce our Head Coach, a former multi-position softball standout whose playing career spans more than a decade and includes experience at the travel, varsity, and collegiate levels. From 2010 to 2022, she competed as a versatile defender—playing third, second, first, outfield, and even beginning her career behind the plate. Her journey includes time with several competitive travel programs, the Fury organization, four years as a varsity starter at St. John’s Country Day School, and collegiate play at Florida State College at Jacksonville.

Throughout her career, she earned honors as a three-year team captain, two-time regional champion, and three-time district champion, setting the standard for leadership, work ethic, and competitive consistency.

With five years of coaching experience, she has worked across both softball and baseball at the 12U and 14U levels, serving as an assistant and head coach for multiple Tsunami and Godley Wildcats teams. Beyond team coaching, she provides private hitting and fielding instruction to athletes of all ages, focusing on fundamentals, confidence, and strong game IQ.

At the heart of her coaching is a clear philosophy:
“I strive to develop athletes who play the game with intelligence, confidence, and heart… My goal is to inspire a love for the game that lasts far beyond the field.”

Her mission is to build a positive, growth-focused environment where players develop not only stronger skills, but stronger character—leaving the season loving the game more than ever.

We are excited to have her leading our 14U athletes this year!

Hayden Keeton

Pitching Coach

We're excited to introduce our pitching coach, Hayden Keeton, who brings a strong blend of playing experience, leadership, and passion for developing young athletes. Currently a standout player for Texas Unity Smith 16U as a RHP/OF, she has competed at an elite level for years, including earning the title of 2024 AFCS 14U National Champion.

She has been a three-year varsity starter at Godley High School (RHP/UTL), where her performance on the field has earned multiple accolades, including:

  • District Newcomer of the Year (23-24)
  • 1st Team All-District (23-24)
  • 2nd Team All-District (24-25)
  • 2nd Team All-Johnson County (24-25)

With 12 years of softball experience and one year of coaching, she brings both deep knowledge of the game and a relatable player-focused perspective. Her goal is to help each athlete grow not only as a pitcher, but as a confident competitor.

We're thrilled to have her guiding our athletes this season!
